Summary: "When history becomes, for the professional, the very object of his reflection, he could reverse the process of understanding referring to a product to a place?" (CERTEAU 2011, p. 46). With this extracted questioning the work Writing of History, Michel de Certeau on the search of the historian of Historiography of history for what is beyond product of history, this paper aims to demonstrate the significant contribution History Magazine University of São Paulo between 1950 and 2016 for the development of Brazilian historiography. Through the case study, using mainly a comparative analysis it will point as this academic-scientific form, History Magazine, contributed to the construction of a rhizomatic network of relationships, not only academic, but also of power, interconnecting people, institutions and knowledge with the pioneering university journal field of historical knowledge in Brazil, that by the time of its origin had a great aridity.
